Community Outreach Programs

Having a event that you would like us to help out with?  WTRS is always willing to be a good neighbor!  Anytime that you need our help or would like us to participate in an event sponsored by your organization please feel free to contact us.  With enough notice we can be part of anything you need us to be.
We are always looking for new organizations to partner up with to provide new services to our community!
Let us know if you would like us to:

- Provide a tour of our facility to your group
- Come to a meeting or event to showcase what programs we provide for children
- Provide medical coverage for a event
- Provide handouts and materials for you to promote awareness
For more information on the services we can provide, please contact us at outreach@wtrs.org
File of Life Program
Fifty-eight percent of all emergency calls are for Senior Citizens.  The large majority of those calls are problematic because sometimes the patient is unable to provide us with vital information needed for their care.  They may not be able to because for many reasons that include dementia, a physical impairment, or because they are unconscious.

About five years ago WTRS started the File of Life Program for the residents of Guilderland and North Bethlehem.  This program provides, free of charge, a mini medical history template that can be filled out by the patient, their family or friends, or we would be more than happy to help them as well.  It comes with a magnetic sleeve that sits on their refrigerator in plain sight, or you have one to place in a car, so that in the event we arrive for a emergency all their vital information is quickly available.  This would include name, date of birth, past medical history, medications, allergies, emergency contacts, and more.

If you would like one for a loved one or friend feel free to stop by or email us!
