BLS for the Healthcare Provider
The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize serveral life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
It is intended for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.
- Original Certification Classroom Course 5-6 hours in length
$55 per person onsite fee ($10 additional fee per person for off site course)
- Re-certification Classroom Course 3-4 hours in length
$46 per person onsite fee ($10 additional fee per person for off site course)
must produce a current or recently expired AHA or American Red Cross card to participate
- Skills Challenge from Online Course 30 minutes in length
*Only provided to those who wish to re-certify their card.
$25 per person (onsite only; this fee is in addition to the online course fee through the AHA)
